Visit small villages and farmlands where locals continue to produce honey and medronho (a traditional spirit made from the arbutus berry) using age-old methods. Along the way, your guide will share insights into regional history, landscapes and everyday rural life.
A key highlight of the tour is a visit to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve, where, on a clear day, you’ll enjoy spectacular 360º panoramic views of the mountains and coastline. There will also be time for a tasting of medronho and melosa, two emblematic Algarve spirits.
