Wild Dolphins and Hidden Caves Along the Algarve Coast
Embark on a thrilling 2-hour adventure from Vilamoura Marina that combines the excitement of dolphin watching with a high-speed tour of the Algarve’s sea caves and dramatic coastline.
Aboard a fast and agile rigid inflatable boat (RIB), your experienced skipper and crew will guide you out into the Atlantic in search of wild dolphins, including the commonly sighted Bottlenose and Common dolphins. While sightings are not guaranteed, the crew draws on over 20 years of experience and a rich database of dolphin activity to maximize your chances.
Once dolphins are spotted, the boat will approach carefully and respectfully, allowing you to observe these intelligent creatures in their natural habitat without causing disturbance. Throughout the tour, you’ll also learn about marine biodiversity, local species and conservation efforts - in partnership with ongoing research and protection initiatives.
The second part of your journey takes you along the untouched Algarve coastline to explore spectacular sea caves and rock formations, including hidden caverns only accessible by small boats. Thanks to the size and manoeuvrability of the RIB, you’ll be able to enter narrow caves and secluded grottoes for a truly immersive experience.
