Join this 1.5-hour shared boat tour from Praia do Carvoeiro and explore some of the Algarve’s most breathtaking coastal scenery - including Benagil Cave, Praia da Marinha and over 17 impressive sea caves sculpted by the Atlantic over millions of years.
Departing from the beautiful Carvoeiro Beach, your journey will take you past natural landmarks like Algar Seco, “A Boneca” (The Doll) and the white-sand beaches of Vale Covo, Praia do Carvalho and Benagil. Along the way, marvel at the Alfanzina Lighthouse and hear the story of the Steam Boiler Cave, named after a sunken steamboat still visible within.
The tour continues to the famous arches of Praia da Marinha, considered one of the top 10 beaches in Europe and among the world’s 100 most beautiful. If sea and weather conditions allow, your skipper may also offer a brief stop for swimming in open waters - the perfect way to connect with this awe-inspiring coastline.
This premium cave tour is conducted in small groups (max. 10 passengers per boat), allowing for a more intimate and immersive experience. All boats are fully licensed and equipped with new-generation automatic life jackets and full safety protocols.

Important info
- Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
- Departure: Praia do Carvoeiro (ticket office is left of the town square)
- Check-in: 30 minutes before departure
- Free parking: Available behind the church at the top of the hill (left side facing the sea)
- Max capacity: 10 people per boat (larger groups will be split)
- In case of rough sea conditions, the departure point may be moved to Clube Naval de Portimão (guests will be informed in advance)
- The tour is subject to weather and sea conditions and may be cancelled or rescheduled for safety
📌 Remarks:
Bring water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, swimwear and towel (in case of a swim stop), and of course your camera to capture the incredible scenery.
