Discover the Untamed Beauty of Costa Vicentina
Explore one of Portugal’s most breathtaking and unspoiled coastal regions on this full-day tour along the Costa Vicentina, part of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
Departing from the southern Algarve, the tour travels through peaceful inland landscapes and along the wild Atlantic coastline. The first stops are at the beaches of Amado and Carrapateira, known for their raw natural beauty and sweeping views of the rugged cliffs and powerful ocean. These are ideal locations for photography and short scenic walks.
The journey continues to Aljezur, a small historic town marked by its traditional whitewashed houses and the ruins of a Moorish castle overlooking the valley. From the hilltop, visitors can enjoy panoramic views and learn about the region’s cultural heritage.
The tour concludes at Cape Saint Vincent (Cabo de São Vicente), a dramatic headland once considered the edge of the known world. The cliffs, lighthouse and windswept views offer a powerful and unforgettable experience.
Lunch at a local restaurant is available as an optional extra and subject to a supplement.
