Explore the Algarve Coast with Caves, a Beach BBQ and Ocean Views
This 6-hour catamaran cruise from Portimão offers a full-day experience along the Algarve coastline, combining sightseeing, cave exploration and a beach BBQ.
The route includes views of Ferragudo, the historic Fort of São João do Arade and the dramatic cliffs and sea caves between Portimão and Benagil. Upon arrival, smaller boats transport participants into several sea grottoes, including the famous Benagil Cave, conditions permitting.
After the cave visit, the catamaran anchors near a secluded beach, where guests disembark to enjoy a freshly prepared barbecue. The meal includes grilled meats, Algarve salad, bread, seasonal fruit and drinks (white and red wine, orangeade and water) from the open bar.
Free time on the beach allows for swimming, sunbathing or participating in optional beach games. The return journey follows a scenic route past coastal rock formations and hidden coves near Carvoeiro.
